My Humanistic Studies paper is a culmination of a year of dedicated research into Internet Sociology. By using Karl Marx's thoughts on labour, Yanis Varoufakis's analysis of Technofeudalism, and Michel Foucault's writing on disciplinary society as a springboard, this thesis aims to study how structural and hierarchical social dynamics have evolved to adapt to the freedom promised to the masses by the Internet.
