Anahita Arun
is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Mumbai, India. She is currently based in Baltimore, USA, studying to be a Graphic Designer, Humanist, and Interactive Artist with a focus on Politics, Socio-Economics, Intercultural Communication, Art History, and Curation.Anahita leverages her dual experiences living in India and the USA to create designs that are globally accessible. Media and internet culture dictate her work. She is dedicated to researching how mass-produced art can solve global design and socio-political problems beyond traditional print and screen-based art and graphic design. This exploration of her personal work has also led to her love for research in the history and exhibition of art and design.
Her goal in life is to always maximize her experience in any situation she puts herself in. While she primarily aims to be a graphic designer, Anahita has also explored art direction, print, photography, product modeling, video art, projection mapping, curation, and computer-generated art to expand her knowledge within the evolving field. She often reflects on society and the implications of her work in an ever-changing world.
